Paper Bag Gingerbread House

This easy mess-free craft is super simple, cute and fun! My kids love when the Christmas season is in full swing because that means cousins Christmas at Grandma’s. They simply have the most creative and fun grandma (who also runs her own subscription box for Grandma’s). One of the things grandma does nearly every year with the grandkids are gingerbread houses. With all the frosting. And candy. Lots of candy. It is a beautiful mess but also reminds me of why I don’t do them with the kids at home, ha!

But, this month while creating all the gingerbread projects, gingerbread playdough & this gingerbread busy book, I had the idea of making a mess-free gingerbread house out of good ole paper bags. Now this is a craft I can say is mom and kid approved. Not only are they cute but they can also double as gift bags! We trimmed about an inch off the top of the bags, cut the roof print in 1/2 and glued it on- punched a hole and strung a bit of string through. Super cute!

We hope you have fun making this gingerbread house and share with us on social!
